Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle TN

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee serves children throughout the entire Middle Tennessee area, and we welcome the support and partnership of businesses in our service area.

We have opportunities for your organization to form employee volunteer groups, teams and participants in our fund-raising events throughout the year, volunteer manpower, and a host of other options.

Your employees may have children that could benefit from our programs. Your facility might be an ideal choice for a site-based mentoring program, or maybe an awareness event for your community.

Become a "Big" Partner

Being a Big Partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters means joining with us to serve more children in Middle Tennessee. Your involvement can be customized to suit the needs and culture of your company, but typical ways to partner with us include:

• Developing teams of employees to be Big Brothers and Big Sisters in a school, Boys and Girls Club or Family Resource Center;

• Providing us with regular opportunities to share our message and recruit volunteers among your employees;

• Developing work site visits for Bigs and Littles to introduce children to career options and share daily workplace activities;

• Sponsoring mentoring matches with monetary donations;

• Providing event sponsorships, teams or volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters fund-raising events throughout the year.

Sponsor a "Bigs for a Day" Event

Activities are needed for children on the waiting list at our agency. Companies can underwrite expenses of an activity – such as a visit to a local museum, ball game, picnic, miniature golf - and allow interested employees to serve as Bigs for the day.

This provides fun and valuable interaction for children on the agency’s wait list and an opportunity for employees to perform a community service while receiving an introduction to mentoring.
