Lowell Perry, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters, accepts a check for $4,000 from Gregg Clingermann, President of the Tennessee On-Site Wastewater Association from their Golf Scramble event held October 6 at Pebble Brook Golf Course.

The Tennessee On-Site Wastewater Association held its first annual Golf Scramble event last month with proceeds going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. Held at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Greenbrier, the inaugural edition raised $4,000 to mentor children throughout Middle Tennessee.

"Events like this Golf Scramble are a tremendous opportunity for Big Brothers Big Sisters to reach new volunteers and investors in our children," commented Lowell Perry, Jr. CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. He continues, "We are so grateful to all the individuals connected with the Tennessee On-Site Wastewater Association for their efforts, and for their recognition that we all need to step up and take action to mentor the children in Middle Tennessee."

"Everyone with TOWA (Tennessee On-Site Wastewater Association) is happy to be able to give back to our community in the form of mentoring children in need," commented Gregg Clingermann, President of the group. "We were blessed with a beautiful day for golf and were able to help children in the process."

Event sponsors were: Adenus Technologies, E. Roberts Alley & Associates, B & B Concrete, James C. Hailey & Co., Hydromatic Pumps, Integrated Resource Management, Johnson Controls, W.L. McClain & Co., Morrison Tank & Vault, Nash Excavation, Oatey-Cheme-Hercules, Quanics, Ring Industrial Group, Site Engineering Consultants, SJE Rhombus Controls, Southern Seamless Floors, Soil Solutions, and TVA.
